Rhaphidophora korthalsii (Araceae) is a root-climber plant which has been widely used in Chinese traditional medicine for cancer and skin disease treatment. Previous reports have recorded its immunomodulatory effects on mice splenocyte and human peripheral blood. Herbal compound “Songyou Yin” attenuates hepatoma cell invasiveness and metastasis through downregulation of cytokines secreted by activated hepatic stellate cells

Dance is one of many complementary therapies that have been tried to alleviate the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease (Zesiewicz and Evatt 2009). Two recent studies suggest that dance therapy improves balance, bradykinesia, gait, motor functioning, postural instability, quality of life and other functional measures (Duncan et al. 2011, Heiberger et al. 2011).
