Calcium & vitamin D supplementation effectively influenced symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in this case control study. 100 infertile PCOS women were treated with metformin 1500 mg/day (n=50) or with metformin 1500 mg/day plus calcium 1000 mg/day and vitamin D 100,000 IU/month (n=50) for 6 months.
