The research was conducted in the peer-reviewed scientific literature to identify studies that addressed the benefits of Vitamin K2. It did not include preclinical or animal studies. The majority of studies indicated Vitamin K2 was beneficial for bone quality, bone density, and combating osteoporosis. Additional benefits of Vitamin K2 supplementation identified in the literature include, treatment of a variety of cancers including lung, liver and colon; bone resorption; anemia; and breastfeeding.
